How the idea for your silent story was born?

The idea for this story is born out of the wonderful experience that is exploring the infinite beauty and complexity of the world. A stroll in the woods, discovering the pools between rocks on a beach or observing my grandma’s geraniums become amazing journeys of wonder and inspiration.

What's the story about?

The story follows our protagonist out of the city into an adventure in the pursuit of a stolen shoe. It will take him to a fascinating and unexplored submarine world filled with mesmerizing and colorful new creatures and landscapes. When he returns back home, something will surely have changed, but what? “E poi un giorno” is fundamentally a story of discovery and self-identity that advocates for finding the amazing everywhere you go.

Why have you decided to enter the contest?

When I had clear I was going to be talking about wonder and curiosity it just made sense to work on a silent book that invited the reader to attentively explore every page. This project is also my graduation thesis and Silent Book Contest seemed like the perfect opportunity to take it out into the world!
