Luca Cognolato, Silvia del Francia, Fabio Sardo (Italy)

How the idea for your silent story was born?

From the habit children have of finding treasures in small things and keeping them.

What's the story about?

Of the fatigue of detachment, of interrupting a relationship, even if temporarily, in the daily life of a child.

Why have you decided to enter the contest?

Luca & Silvia: It seemed like an interesting challenge to take on.

Fabio: Never done a silentbook before and I like to try my hand at new things.

Fabio Sardo graduated from the school of comics in Milan in 2004. He also graduated in sociology in 2016. He works as an illustrator and occasionally meditates. Today he is more serene than yesterday because he no longer seeks perfection.

Silvia del Francia e Luca Cognolato write stories for children, on their own or together. Some titles are translated abroad. When they meet interesting people, they design stories as a group.
