The idea for this project was to tell a story from the point of view of something that is naturally silent. The fact that a chair cannot speak couldn’t stop me to tell its story!
This story is about transformation. Changes occur everywhere around us, over day and nights and seasonal cycles, and through our interactions with the outside world. And, all of a sudden, a simple chair can become something else!
Sometimes doodles and random notes await for months, or even years, in a sketchbook. This competition seemed the right opportunity to rearrange scattered ideas and drawings into an editorial project.
To all the broken, forgotten, abandoned furniture.
