The idea of the book was born from illustration, first there was a drawing and then I came up with the story and the idea of the book, especially for the competition. I wanted to create a calm story, something warm, with a rustle of leaves and philosophical connotations.
It is a story about those warm moments of our life that need and are important to preserve, because they will warm in moments of cold and fear. It is a story about the importance of noticing what surrounds us, appreciating the environment, observing it and accepting its gifts.
I’ve learned about the contest from the Internet a long time ago. Last year I had a story but it did not fit certain parameters. So this year I’ve prepared and drew a book especially for the competition.
