I wanted to tell what happens when you’re overwhelmed by bad or negative thoughts caming from relationships with other people. And of the ability of asking forgiveness and meet halfway.
It’s a story of new beginnings, of unexpected meetings along the way. Of the diversions, bad moods coming necessarily from all new steps towards the new. Of the importance of empathy and of the “other”.
I find the silent books a real expressive and magic tool and this contest allows to get involved in making one.
Agnese Leone was born in Cagliari on 27 October 1987. She graduated in 2012 from Mario Sironi Academy of Fine Arts of Sassari where she studied Graphic Design. In 2015 she obtained a Master’s degree at the Ars in Fabula-School of Illustration in Macerata. She is very fond of nature-themed subjects and she makes use of them in every work she produces, trying to portray the beauty of the natural word by adding textures and pictorial effects.
